What are Blended products?
At Nippon Seiro, we call paraffin wax and microcrystalline wax that have been blended with resin and the like to further enhance and improve their functions, "blended products."While there is a limit to what is compatible with hydrophobic wax, blending can dramatically improve the potential of wax.
How to use
Anti-Ozonant Waxes (For Rubber & Tire)
Rubber is subject to light and ozone in the air, which causes it to age and crack. To prevent this aging, wax is blended with rubber. The wax blooms on the surface of the rubber and forms a film, increasing the anti-oxidation effect of the rubber. In general, the mobility (ease of motion) of wax in rubber increases as the temperature rises, but as the solubility of wax in rubber increases rapidly above a certain temperature, the ease of motion simultaneously decreases. This is because the wax dissolves into the rubber and does not bloom on the surface.
